To borrow from the title of the popular Christmas song…
“It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”.
From Thanksgiving through New Year’s and beyond, we have so many reasons to eat, drink, give, play and be merry. We honor faith, culture and traditions. We offer thanks and we look to the future. Yes, many of us shop till we drop, but we also:
Share our abundance AND KINDNESS with others less fortunate:

Turn our thoughts to service members who are unable to be home:
OR do whatever we can to be with our loved ones.
Including planning a unique holiday getaway

Many people associate CHRISTMAS with cold climates. (Think North Pole) To be sure, many songs, movies and books are played out against snow. It takes some getting used to for people to see red velvet bows on palm trees and Santa in board shorts and shades.
But let’s not forget that the Spirit of the Season is felt in the heart. Here in the keys, we celebrate with a “twist” and decorate with a “splash.” Lots of seashells, lime green and flamingos in our decorations, and the only ice is in our drinks!!! But you are sure to see some traditional ornamentation… with all the history and northern transplants. Throw in the city’s vibrant arts community, and you are sure to have a feast for your eyes!
here is a sampling of how we celebrate in Latitude 25:
AND LASTLY, NO SHORTAGE OF ‘DROPS’ ON NEW YEAR’S EVE
From the conch shell at sloppy joes…
…To the drag queen in a shoe at bourbon street pub.
So, whatever, wherever and however you celebrate….
We wish you and yours the brightest of Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, Boxing Day, Feast of the Epiphany and
